Review: Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ PA+++

Weather is super hot nowadays. It indeed makes me very lazy to drag myself out to class every time when I see how sunny it gets outside. The amount of sunblock applied have to be even thicker than ever. I usually will not open up my curtains until 30min after I had put on my sunscreens. Just to ensure not many rays shines in. lol.

This is Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry-touch Sunblock. It is actually my 2nd purchase( 4th now) because I am quite happy on how it does to my skin . It claims to have SPF 50+ and PA+++ which is sufficient for me. It also has the spray mist but I am quite particular when it comes to sunblock. I could know I have proper quantities when I put it on my skin myself :p

*Updated: Alittle information about sunblock protection:UVB rays usually contacts with the surface of the skin causing sunburn. You can see instant burn when you are outside for too too long without any protections.

UVA rays is more to a long term thingy. It could penetrates into the skin and cause damage to the skin cells which will caused pigmentation, aging, and sagging.

In short: UVA= Aging . UVB= Burning. So make sure you find a suncreen/sunblock with UVA & UVB protection or most common now is SPF for UVB and PA for UVA. The plus sign usually indicates how strong the protection are. I usually will either use SPF 30 or 50 with PA +++ *

The ingredients

What it promises

The texture does looks a little too creamy but trust me, it is non greasy at all. It spreads and absorb easily, hence it quite surprise me on how it looks and actually feel XD. It has light scents of sunscreen, not too crazy.

Packaging like this makes me feel secured because it is all sealed up so I know it hasn't been tampered with. I tends to see people open up products to test when there is no testers available. Thus, by having it sealed up you know your product is fresh and untouched.Haha. Sounds so wrong wtf.

See how it absorb nicely into my skin. However, I only apply this on my hands and arms thus, I didn't know how it works on the face. And I'm not being paid to do this. Just to share out products that I am quite satisfied with.

Do apply your sunscreens before heading out because you just do not know how harmful UV rays can bring to your skin :)

Cosline Mask ( Tomato Fresh Pack, Sweet Honey Pack, Yoghurt Pack)

I received the items that I ordered from sasa.com. My friend uses her account to purchase for me and this product arrive during my exam period. I was super happy and super motivated back then. Stress gone for the whole day !!! lol

This is the parcel delivered from Hong Kong.

It contains small polystyrene in it to ensure products will not damage during shipping and they also bubble wrap the products very carefully. Love their good and prompt service :)

I purchase the Cosline fresh pack which suppose to be a mask which I waited patiently for about a month for it to shipped in to Malaysia. I almost went crazy when my friend pass it to me. Laughing so loudly in the car and hand keep banging on the dashboard ( if you could imagine the scene) I actually wanted to purchase only the Cosline Tomato Fresh Pack but because of the shipping price and what not so I ended up purchasing others as well.

So in total I bought 5 bottles of the pack which are 3 tomatoes, 1 honey and 1 grape.. As it has a life span of 3 years, I am pretty sure that I could use it all up within 3 years. hehe

Okay so this is the Tomato Fresh Pack. It has very strong tomato smell in it and it smells really really nice.It comes in 170ml and only cost MYR 14. With such a big bottle and cheap price, its definitely a steal :)

As you can see, the product is like pretty sticky but me likey. Hehe. It contains lycopene and it is said it could make skin resilient. Could also treat acne skin as it soothes out irritation and prevent blemishes.

Am loving this product very much. As for the other two, I still haven't got the chance to use it. So hopefully it could also bring good results.

Yea, that's all from me and I shall see you soon. Bye.

Homemade Natural Yoghurt Mask

I decided to put a relax mode to myself today. A self declared holiday.*laughs* Thus, I decided to make this mask to de-stressed myself and at the same time to feed my skin :D. This post will be on the homemade yogurt mask to treat acne prone skin. Its inexpensive and super easy to do . You could easily get all the ingredients in the supermarket.

Ingredients that you need:

2 tablespoons of oatmeal
3 tablespoons of natural yoghurt
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of olive oil

( if you are allergic to any of the ingredients above, please do not try this mask)

Did you know that?

Oatmeal is a natural cleanser and exfoliators and could remove dirt and oil leaving skin feel soft and at the same time restore natural moisture balance of the skin.

Natural yoghurt could refine pores & prevent acne.

Honey can help to protect the skin from damage of sun rays, could treats acne & also retain moisture of the skin.

Olive oil has super moisturizing effect to treat dry skin and could sooth skin irritation.

Alright. After knowing all the benefits it brings to our skin, let's get started.

Step 1
Prepare a clean bowl. Haha like wtf.
Step 2
Take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and put it in the bowl.

Step 3
Scoop out 3 spoonfuls of yoghurt and mix it up with the oatmeal

Step 4
Add one teaspoon of honey to the mixture.

Step 5 (optional)
Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Alternatively, you could also add 1 teaspoon of lemon( good for oily skin and to treats acne)

Give it a good mix and voila. Your own home made mask is ready to be use.
Apply it on a cleaned face and let it sit on your face for 20 minutes. And before you rinse it off, wet your hands and use your fingers to exfoliates the mask for about 1 minute. Towel dry and feel the difference. Skin feels so much softer and brighter, and most importantly, it is all natural ingredients without any chemicals in it.

The leftover of the mask could be kept in the refrigerator and have a life span for at least 5 days :) It is safe to be use daily.

Enjoy your home made natural mask & I shall see you soon.
Bye.

Haul: Vincci Shoes

I recently picked up two shoes from Vincci. They are having sales from 10-50% depending on the shoes you choose.

If you guys are familiar with this, yes this is my previous ones. It is so comfy that I wanna go ahead and picked up another one. The color is in navy and I guess they have quite alot choices of colors to choose from.

I also picked up another flats and this is in Gold. I'm not sure whether this will feel that comfy as my other ones but the quality is not that bad. Very well constructed.

I'm not into pumps recently because I'm not really working and I don't think I need one to torture my feet now. lol. Maybe I will get one soon when I found a job, but right now, flats are my best friend :)

Swatches and Short Reviews

As promised, this will be some of the swatches that I've said I will do on my previous haul post. I'll also be  doing small reviews about them.

Start off with the blushers, I picked up four of the Loreal Blush Delice( I'm not sure whether you can still get it now)

From L-R: Fresh papaya, Rosewood, Sandalwood Veil, Rosy Cheeks

I don't really care for the others but I really like Sandalwood Veil, which is a matte ones and the color payoff is great. The other colors have shimmers to it which I don't really like blushers to be. Also, it looks rather cheap looking on my face and I don't know why is that so. Initially, I thought that the fresh papaya will be my most favorite ones but when I use it on my face I was like, nahh I can pass this off.

L-R: Misterioso Bronze, Antique Gold
Next on to the mica powders. I had two of the coastal scents mica powders.

Look at the size, it is crazy.haha. I thought that one ounce is gonna be like Mac pigments but hell no! It is way tooo tooo much.lol I don't really think I can hit pan on it any soon. So some might go somewhere else, I still haven't figured it out.

L-R: Misterioso Bronze, Antique Gold
I really love the Misterioso Bronze. It's really beautiful. The Antique gold is more like a vintage color with a green hint to it. I can't say they are really pigmented as Mac because if you can see from the swatches itself, some parts are darker and some are more shimmer, idk.

Moving on to the Victoria Secret Brilliant Shimmer All Over Powder. I picked up the color in Star.

It has like a sifter to it which is really good and convenient to pick up the product without messing it all around. I guess this is also much bigger in size than the Mac pigments. This comes in 9.5g/0.33 Oz.

L-R: Victoria Secret Brilliant Shimmer all over  powder  in Star,  Barry M Dazzle Dust #44
I don't think I will use this as shimmers on the face though because it is really too shimmery. I only use it as an eyeshadow.

Together with the Vs swatches is the Barry M's Dazzle Dust in #44. If you guys can tell, I always choose like a more natural and warmer color as I'm not too crazy over fancy colors. Also, I find myself reaching for neutral colors more often.

I forgot to include this in my previous haul post. I also picked up the Viva Glam Gaga 2 lippie when I was in Kay Elle the other day.

The lipstick swatch is the one across the eyeshadows'

Look how pretty it is. I wanted to get back ups of this before it is all ran out from the shelves. Absolutely my favorite color.

My Beauty Diary

I'm sold off by its packaging, dessert cute theme. This is really a good set if you want to just give it a try on the products because it all comes in a trial size.

It comes with a 30ml Strawberry Yoghurt Amino Acid Cleanser, a 50ml Vanilla Souffle Face Scrub, one piece of Earl Grey Tea & Macaron Sheet Mask, and one piece of Chocolate Truffle Sheet Mask. I'm really excited and I shall report back after I've tried them.

Lastly, the happiest part of this haul is that I got hold of this Chacott finishing powder. I've been searching for this for such a long time. Super happy that I've found it. Mine comes with a hugeeeee jar with 120g, which they stopped producing in such a size now.  I guess they think 120g is way toooo much lol. You can only purchase a 30g ones now.

I'll just show you how big it is compared to the Laura Mercier's translucent setting powder. See the big big size!!!lol

The powder is really really finely milled. I picked up # 753 which is a translucent color and when applied, it leaves skin super smooth. I think it's really comparable with the MUFE HD though. The Chacott finishing powder had a great raved in the Japanese country. I'm super happy I actually owned this now.
*happy face*
haha <3

That's it. I hope you enjoy reading and I'll see you soon.

The Lorissa Shoe

I promised myself that I will picked up this piece of shoes when I'm working and got my first salary or maybe second. haha

Super love the rhinestones detail to it.

Well, this is kinda random post because I was working on the swatches that I promised to do and I clicked on this picture that I've saved for quite some time. So, just to inspire me a little and to remind myself to get to work ASAP! lol

But I really love my unproductive days like this nao. Blehhh
