Review: Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream

This has been in my makeup storage for quite some time now and I think this is probably my highly recommended bb creams for now, hence I thought I'll do a good short review here. It says it has hyaluronic acid and could supply moisture to the skin. Also, it has Spf 30 PA++ and is said to help in whitening and wrinkle care.

This is what it says at the back. Idk, I can't read Korean.lol

As much as I like to use bb cream, I only uses it as a foundation and not expecting it to do all the whitening or wrinkle care stuff because I think they normally doesn't work.lol

I personally thinks that as far as color goes, it really doesn't have that grey cast as most of the bb creams tend to have. Also, to me, it smells just like peanut butter ground-nutty scent lol. Plus, I tend to get less oily in my T-zone area when I use this.

I swatch Missha's Perfect Cover BB cream side by side as comparison ( Left: Lioele Right: Missha)

When blended out. You can actually see the Missha ones is way darker and greyish

Same as the Missha ones, it comes with very hygienic pump out tube and with this way it gets less messy as well when product is being used.

Breakdown:
Pros:
- doesn't have grey cast
- color matches me perfectly
- control oil
- price is reasonable
- hygienic packaging

Cons:
- limited stores selling this brand :/

Review: Loreal Everstrong Sulfate-Free Reconstruct Shampoo & Conditioner

I've picked this up probably two weeks ago in Watsons so I figured I shall do a review on them. This comes with three types I think, a pink tube for colored hair, two different types of green tube: which I forget what was the function of another one. I bought the one is for frizzy and damage hair( Reconstruct)

What it claims:
Shampoo

Conditioner

Ingredients:
Shampoo

Conditioner

My Verdict: The shampoo is actually quite drying for me but I don't mind because I always use conditoner anyway. I dont think it does any job in preventing breakage, but I could see it could tame my frizz down for quite abit.

The conditioner in my opinion had a strong minty scent which I don't really mind as well, but for those who hate minty smell should probably avoid this.

I'm not really impressed with this tbh as I think Tsubaki does a better job for me. But this shampoo and conditioner are way much better than alot of products that I've ever tried( drugstore wise)

Lastly, still want to show a picture of myself before I end my post :p

September&October Hits & Misses

Lack of update. My bad lol. But anyway, I'm gonna quickly run through my hits and misses for this month and the  reason why I accumulate both Sept&Oct together is because I don't really bought much stuff in Sept, so I thought mightswell combined it to the next month and what not. I'm gonna start off with makeup product:

1) Bonnebell Glimmer Bronze

I really like this for the all over the face because it gives my skin a really beautiful sheen. Plus, the color is not super dark and it just gives me that healthy glow.

I don't typically use this for contouring because I don't feel the color is dark enough. I usually uses the Mac's solar riche bronzer whenever I feel like contouring my face. But I really like this product. Definitely check this out.

2) WetnWild Blushers in Pearlescent Pink & Mellow Wine, Milani Baked Blush in Corallina
L-R: WetnWild Pearlescent Pink, Mellow Wine, Milani Corallina

Love the quality of WetnWild blushers, in fact, it's one of the best drugstore blushers I've tried so far. They said the Pearlescent Pink is a dupe for Nars Orgasm but I don't really have those, so I couldn't speak for it. But it's a blusher with gold particles in it, not really crazy shimmers and it gives super nice flush on the cheek. Mellow Wine is a rosy matte blusher and I think I prefer Mellow Wine more because it's kinda like an everyday blush for me.
L-R: Pearlescent Pink, Mellow Wine, Corallina

I don't like the Milani Blush in Corallina as it's too shimmers on my skin. The shimmers are really kinda big and chunky and I hate it very very much :/

3) Mac Viva Glam Cyndi

I know you couldn't get this anymore, but this is what I use to start off myself with red lipstick. I didn't really dare to wear a red lips because it's really hard to pull off but I really really wanted a red lipstick so badly so I picked this up.

I would say it is not like super red lipstick, more to berry pink and it's on the sheer side, but is definitely buildable.
This is a picture of me wearing it.haha. I think this is great for those who just wanted to get to know red lips because you could add up the layer to your desirableness, if that makes any sense lol.

4) Clinelle Oil Free Smoothing Compact Spf18

I really really have high hopes on this because the powder is really really finely milled and it sets my foundation perfectly, but it doesn't control the shines on my Tzone as I need to touch up every 3hours if not less.

Also, it doesn't has much shade to choose from as it only comes in 2shades: Natural and Ivory. I'm using the Natural ones and Ivory is much lighter. I would say, if you are anything darker than me, I don't really recommend this to you. I'm about NC30-NC35 if you are wondering.

5) Revlon Nail Enamel

My new favorite color!! I'm not sure whether it's a limited edition, but I'm pretty much positive that it's a permanent color as I saw it for quite a long time at the store already.

I'm wearing Steel-her-Heart on my nails and I'm about to die!! It's soo soo pretty. I painted midnight affair on my toe as well. Super pretty. Highly highly recommended.

Alright, done with makeup, now to skincare

6) Shiseido Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam

I'm about done with this and I cannot stress how good this cleanser is. It definitely will not stripped your face and leave it like squeaky clean,  although alot foaming cleanser tends to do so, but this one doesn't, and it could remove excess makeup impurities as well. If you could get this, GRAB IT!! lol

7) Skin Peptoxyl Intelligent Dark Circles Eraser

I read alot good things about this but unfortunately, I don't really have much luck with this. I don't really see significance change on my dark circles at all. Plus, it doesn't really absorb into my eye area and I need to like pat it for super long time for it to be absorbed.
It's a gel consistency so it's not too thick or anything like that. Actually, I much prefer a cream ones because I feel that my eye area is really dry and needs a more moisturised cream. However, you can get this in Sasa if you are interested, but I don't really recommend it.

8) Etude House Mini Size U Toner

This is a toner and it is said to minimize the pores. It has like two layers where the bottom is kinda like a wine liquid and you have to shake it up well before using. I don't think it does anything to my pores, in fact, it doesn't do anything at all. I just use it up because I don't really like to waste it and I'm almost done with it. If you have any recommendation on any good toners, do leave me a comment down below.

9) Dove Nectarine & White Ginger Scent Body Wash

This smells sooooo great I almost wanted to eat it.Haha. It has like other scents as well, but this attracts me the most. I kept looking forward to bath to be able to use this lol. I'm crazy like that bwahahaha

Well, thats it. Hope you enjoy reading and have a nice weekend guys :D

Birthday Gift

Received these pressies from the lovely friends and family, well some are from the counter. They really spoilt me for sure.haha

Items breakdown :)

1) Clarisonic Mia with Jurlique sets

2) Chloe EDP

Did I mention that this is my first personal preference perfume in life? lol. Mum always chooses the scent for me back when I was younger( which I always hated *laughs*) but now I got to choose mine. I personally thinks that perfume is something very diiferent as it will probably smell good on others but not on you, vice versa.
I adore the packaging. It's really vintage looking which is definitely my love.

3) Naruko
Mom knew I love the Magnolia night jelly so she bought a back up for me together with the AMPM Skin Ecological Indoor Defence Cream

4) Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation

5) Pumps from Vincci

It's super chio and glam. I have a very simple outfit and style, so this could definitely do the thing.

The other day at the wedding. I'm pretty sure you can't see the shoes clearly lol

6) Blouse frm SCS

This blouse is soo expensive it's near 100bucks or something crazy like that. And the bffs bought the same one too. Now that we have the same blouse we can be called as the stingray's girls *inside joke* lol

Special thanks to:

- Mom, Dad & Sis
- Melissa
- Jialing
- Kuanyun

- Ashley

Also, thanks for all the birthday songs, wishes and greetings via text as well as via fb. I really appreciate that, and sorry for holding up this post for such a long time :)

Review: Biore UV Perfect Face Milk Spf 50 Pa+++

I've actually tried this product for quite long now, but I like to try new things, so I didn't really had a chance to do a review on this. It's kinda like an on and off thing for me but for sure it is the thing that I find myself always coming back to. I'm actually using the Biore Aqua but the other day when I was in convocation, I decided to get a more long lasting base so I go ahead and picked this up.

I would say this is a milky sunscreen with almost powdery matte finish. As you can see it is really really a very runny texture.

I like it because:
1) It could be use as a make up base
2) Controls the oil level of my skin
3) Gives a matte finish
4) My foundation last abit longer when I'm using this sunscreen
5) Waterproof ( Read below)

Experiment on its waterproof

Method :I dilute both Biore and Neutrogena's sunscreen into a small bottle of water and give them a good stir

Results:

The bottle of water with Neutrogena's sunscreen becomes really cloudy

Whereas the bottle of water with the Biore ones remain quite clear and you see the suncreen remains at the down part of the bottle

A more closer & clean look. As you can see it doesn't mixed in with the water and it stays as it is. Thus, this is really a waterproof sunscreen. And yes, you definitely have to remove it with a make up remover at the end of the day because of its strong staying power.

What I don't like about it
1) I could detect alcohol content in it as the scent is kinda strong
2) Sometimes when I'm not wearing foundation, it's really a pain to remove it with a makeup remover. Yes I'm that lazy.lolz

Overall, I really love this sunscreen, in fact, it's one of the best sunscreen that I've ever used. I'm combination to oily skin, so I couldn't really speak for dry skin people, but if you are about my skin type, I would say, definately give it a go.

Disclaimer: I'm not being paid to do this and this is truly my honest opinion. I had no intention to stabbed on other brands as I only use products that I own for comparison purposes. This is just a thing you go through with experience I guess :)

Haulss

I'm back from the hospital at last. Thank god that everything is alright. I get really really exhausted one day and I decided to go for a walk and get myself some products( as the shopping mall is just a walking distance from the hospital).

I picked up something from the Etude House. For those who are not familiar with this brand, Etude House is a Korean brand that has the cutest physical shop as it is all in pink. They sell various products ranging from skincare to makeup products.

I picked up their Mini Size U toner and as well as their yoghurt mask.Others are just some of the samples that they gave to me. This is probably my first time trying on their skincare and I will definitely report back.

Besides that, I also manage to get some stuff in the pharmacy store down-stair of the hospital.

I got some alcohol pads to disinfect my makeup products and as well as the Clinelle compact powder as it is buy one and get one free. I know I'm not really a drugstore person when it comes to foundations, but when I try out the tester, I found that the powder is really really finely milled. I kinda have high hopes in it but we'll see how it goes later :)

And that's it. I hope you have a nice day :)

Gifts from Taiwan

My besties went to Taiwan the other day and there are some of the things that she picked /help me to picked up. She has been my best of friend since after secondary and still am standing strong today but long story short lol, this are the products.

Up to down, left to right

- Soft Toy DIY
-Kao Essential Ultra Honey & Shea Butter( this is featured in my August hits and misses post)
- Shiseido Perfect Whip Facial Foam
- Face Q mask ( I didn't tried this out before but the lifting one have the ear hook and neck support to it which I think is so cool)
- The little white puff thingy is the one to build the DIY soft toy.

I actually ask her to look out for me on the Giorgio Armani foundation that I heard people raving about it, but then I figured that I have too too much foundations that I wanted to try first than this one, so I pass it. lol

Anyway, thanks LiChen for the gifts . I really appreciate it :)
