Review: Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush

I know its kinda late to do this review but I guess I'm a little outdated as this is the first time I ever tried on a mousse blush. I do not think that this product still continues in Guardian or Watson in Malaysia, but I think they still have it in the states. I got mine online for about MYR30. I thought that was quite a good price for a blusher hence I give it a shot.

So I picked up the #10 pink frosting and it kinda reminds me of Mac paint pot in terms of its jar design.

It is really nice to touch & it is really soft. All you need to do is just to dab a little product and just gently blend it on your cheek. A little goes a long way and it has a very good staying power. It does stay on my skin for a relatively good amount of time.

without flash

with flash.sorry I took this picture when I just bought it and the without flash one, I took if after using a few times :P

What I do not really like about it is that it has shimmers in it.I basically do not like blushers with shimmers and this really shows up a little on my skin so I like to apply a matte blush over it. I'm not sure whether all of the blushers have shimmers, but don't worry, the shimmers are really fine. You won't find your face glowing with 'bling bling' kind of thing. lol

Also, I do not like how you have to dip your bare fingertips in the product. Talking about hygiene here. Thus, you have to make sure your hands are really really clean before touching it or you can use a spatula too but I find it troublesome to use spatula to dig it out because sometimes I took out too much at a time and the excess I do not know where to apply them.lol. so yea. Packaging wise, don't really like it. These are the swatches of it.

under natural light

a closer look. you can see the shimmer shimmers

I read that the soft plum and the peach satin one is a must have. So do check them out if your stores still carries them.
