Swatches and Short Reviews

As promised, this will be some of the swatches that I've said I will do on my previous haul post. I'll also be  doing small reviews about them.

Start off with the blushers, I picked up four of the Loreal Blush Delice( I'm not sure whether you can still get it now)

From L-R: Fresh papaya, Rosewood, Sandalwood Veil, Rosy Cheeks

I don't really care for the others but I really like Sandalwood Veil, which is a matte ones and the color payoff is great. The other colors have shimmers to it which I don't really like blushers to be. Also, it looks rather cheap looking on my face and I don't know why is that so. Initially, I thought that the fresh papaya will be my most favorite ones but when I use it on my face I was like, nahh I can pass this off.

L-R: Misterioso Bronze, Antique Gold
Next on to the mica powders. I had two of the coastal scents mica powders.

Look at the size, it is crazy.haha. I thought that one ounce is gonna be like Mac pigments but hell no! It is way tooo tooo much.lol I don't really think I can hit pan on it any soon. So some might go somewhere else, I still haven't figured it out.

L-R: Misterioso Bronze, Antique Gold
I really love the Misterioso Bronze. It's really beautiful. The Antique gold is more like a vintage color with a green hint to it. I can't say they are really pigmented as Mac because if you can see from the swatches itself, some parts are darker and some are more shimmer, idk.

Moving on to the Victoria Secret Brilliant Shimmer All Over Powder. I picked up the color in Star.

It has like a sifter to it which is really good and convenient to pick up the product without messing it all around. I guess this is also much bigger in size than the Mac pigments. This comes in 9.5g/0.33 Oz.

L-R: Victoria Secret Brilliant Shimmer all over  powder  in Star,  Barry M Dazzle Dust #44
I don't think I will use this as shimmers on the face though because it is really too shimmery. I only use it as an eyeshadow.

Together with the Vs swatches is the Barry M's Dazzle Dust in #44. If you guys can tell, I always choose like a more natural and warmer color as I'm not too crazy over fancy colors. Also, I find myself reaching for neutral colors more often.

I forgot to include this in my previous haul post. I also picked up the Viva Glam Gaga 2 lippie when I was in Kay Elle the other day.

The lipstick swatch is the one across the eyeshadows'

Look how pretty it is. I wanted to get back ups of this before it is all ran out from the shelves. Absolutely my favorite color.

My Beauty Diary

I'm sold off by its packaging, dessert cute theme. This is really a good set if you want to just give it a try on the products because it all comes in a trial size.

It comes with a 30ml Strawberry Yoghurt Amino Acid Cleanser, a 50ml Vanilla Souffle Face Scrub, one piece of Earl Grey Tea & Macaron Sheet Mask, and one piece of Chocolate Truffle Sheet Mask. I'm really excited and I shall report back after I've tried them.

Lastly, the happiest part of this haul is that I got hold of this Chacott finishing powder. I've been searching for this for such a long time. Super happy that I've found it. Mine comes with a hugeeeee jar with 120g, which they stopped producing in such a size now.  I guess they think 120g is way toooo much lol. You can only purchase a 30g ones now.

I'll just show you how big it is compared to the Laura Mercier's translucent setting powder. See the big big size!!!lol

The powder is really really finely milled. I picked up # 753 which is a translucent color and when applied, it leaves skin super smooth. I think it's really comparable with the MUFE HD though. The Chacott finishing powder had a great raved in the Japanese country. I'm super happy I actually owned this now.
*happy face*
haha <3

That's it. I hope you enjoy reading and I'll see you soon.
