Review: Neutrogena Fine Fairness

I think this had been long requested by my follower. She wanted to know my take on the Neutrogena Fine Fairness line. Sorry it took so long, and I hope you're still reading my blog.lol

Eventually I only have the moisturizer and serum but by then I started using them my toner and cleanser started to run out so what not I just picked up the same line and use them without thinking much. As for the sunblock, it's my mum's so I just take and use.haha

So here we go, This will be quite a long post so, be prepared.

The cleanser

Start off with the cleanser, the neutrogena fine fairness cleanser is a rich foaming cleanser with vitamin C and essential soy in it which helps to brightens up your skin. Just an extra tip with foaming cleansers, you have to really foam them up first before slapping them on your face because by this, the ingredients in it will only start to activate to work and also it will not be too harsh to the skin. This is what I like to do with most of the foaming cleansers.

This is a foaming net which will helps to foam up cleansers. You can get this in Daiso, if you have one near you.

Wet the net and put a pea size amount of cleanser and start to rubbed against the net for a few seconds.

You will get something like this. Sorry it's kinda difficult for me to snap them because the last thing I want is to turn my iphone to apple juice. lol

This will be enough for the entire face.

I would say this cleanser is not bad. It really does its job in cleansing without stripping your face. However, I find that this entire range has a smell that I don't like, which I hate.lol. The smell is not that strong actually but it kinda lingers if I use the entire range. But well, personal preference. My mum and sister really loves this range,  so I couldn't really judge on the smell though.

Packaging: Simple tube with a big opening to it which sometimes you kinda takes out too much of a product.

The toner

It is just like a water consistency but it is white in color, I'm not sure whether its bleached or whatever but it doesn't sting or anything so I guess its not.

I love water consistency toners more than milky consistency ones because it will not burden my skin or leave them sticky. However, I don't think this does any job in whitening hence I don't really care much for this.

Packaging: Hygenic pour out bottle.

The brigtening serum

I love love love this, in fact I hit pan on this already.lol. It absorbs really easily and I feel it really does its job. It helps to lighten my scars even though I only use the serum in this range and use my other skincare brands.

It comes out yellow which you probably couldn't tell because my camera couldn't pick up the color (sorry I actually ran out of this already so I have to really dig the remaining in the bottle hence, the ugly swatch lol)  It has a really light texture to it. I feels that this is good and comparable to the paul & joe ones which I love!

Packaging: Pump out bottle with a secured cap.

The lotion

This moisturizer comes with spf 30 to it and it kinda surprise me because the consistency is really runny and could be absorb almost instantly.

Most of the moisturizers with spf in it will always tend to be really greasy and thick which always leave me really skeptical to try. This does not mean you could skip your sunblock because same concept as bb creams, the amount of moisturizer and bb cream you use will not be as much as you would for sunblock, well at least for me. Hence, how would you think its even possible to give you enough protection throughout the day?  So always remember to use an extra sunblock even though your products already have the functions in it. Sorry I'm really that skeptical because I always don't believe a bottle could provide multi functions. lol

However it will give me somewhat white cast on my face if I apply too much of it. Also, I get really oily around my t zone after about 2-3 hours after using this thus, I hate this and in fact I use this for 2 days and I surrender haha

Packaging: Same as the serum, it comes with a pump-out bottle with a secure cap to it. Really hygienic.

The brightening UV moisture

A sunblock with spf 50 pa+++ in it which is brilliant. It absorbs easily and its super easy to spread all over without feeling greasy to it. I don't think I have much to say about this because literally I found this to be relatively good, but maybe on the price though. It is really pricey, depending on where you go but mine cost about MYR50-ish if I'm not mistaken which I think its crazy for drugstores product.

Packaging: Narrow squeeze tube where you could picked up just the right amount.

This is some information about whitening range products, you will not see your face becomes white instantly after using whitening skincare because if that is the case, its a bleach, haha. I think a good whitening skincare is something you will see results only when you continuously use them because it takes time to heal and fade from inside and it will then eventually brightens up your complexion from inside out.

To me, I don't really care much for this range because the smell is too much for me the handle. If I would repurchase anything, I think it's probably the serum because thats the longest I use and its really working.

Overall ratings: 2 out of 5

I could easily live without this range because it really doesn't impress me much.
So that's it
I hope this won't bored you guys out. I know it's super long post but just to share out my opinions.

Remember, everyone's skin is different. What works for me might not works for you, vice versa. So listen closely to your skin.
I hope you enjoy your day and until next time :D
